The TriOptimum Corporation (also Trioptimum, or simply Tri-Op), is a multinational megacorporation within the futuristic world of the System Shock video game series (the game is set aboard a space station in 2072). In the style of many cyberpunk science fiction narratives, TriOptimum is immensely powerful, and in terms of its power it rivals or surpasses many nation states in its influence. It also engages in morally questionable technological research.

The TriOptimum Corporation is a business company responsible for the creation of SHODAN, Citadel Station, Von Braun and many more technological advances within the System Shock storyline.

It is considered a mega-corporation due to the fact it has influence in the government and is the major supplier for the military and consumers.

Known as Queen Consolidated in the Arrow television series, the company is headquartered in Star City, founded by Oliver's father Robert Queen. After Robert's death, his close friend and former partner Walter Steele serves as the company's chief executive officer.

In the early days of Oliver's ownership, Queen Industries made much of its profits from the sale of weapons and munitions.

Sector 7

Featured in: Transformers (2007)

Sector Seven, a top-secret paramilitary American government branch, led by Seymour Simmons. which deals with extraterrestrial technology. Sector 7, was created by President Herbert Hoover.

Sector 7 discovered a piece of extraterrestrial technology called the Supreme Spark on the Colorado River and built the Hoover Dam around it to hide its energy emissions. They also discovered the alien Megatron who was taken to these facilities and was used in the advances of human technology through reverse engineering.

Two years after the Battle of Mission City and the disbanding of Sector Seven, the Autobots and the U.S. military have formed the Non-biological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty (NEST), a classified international task force in order to eliminate the surviving Decepticons. AmerTek Industries is a military industrial firm that employed engineer Dr. John Henry Irons. Irons is the engineer that developed the BG-60, a powerful man-portable energy cannon, which is sold to urban arms dealers by AmerTek. When Irons learns that his invention has been used for evil purposes, he destroys the blueprints, quits AmerTek, and starts his own business, Iron Works. At Iron Works, Irons designs and builds a prototype of the armor that will eventually become the "Steel" armor. AmerTek spies steal the blueprints and use them to create their own knockoffs. In their actions, they purposefully target civilians, namely John's family.

Twenty years after the devastating alien invasion, the United Nations has set up the Earth Space Defense (ESD), a global defense and research program that reverse-engineers alien technology and serves as Earth's early warning system against extraterrestrial threats. Stark Industries is primarily a defense company that develops and manufactures advanced weapons and military technologies. The company manufactures the armor worn by Iron Man and War Machine. It builds the helicarriers used by S.H.I.E.L.D, and it produces the Quinjets used by the Avengers.

Stark Industries was founded by Isaac Stark, Sr. in the 19th century and later taken over by Howard Stark and then by his son Tony, after his death. Over the years, through bankruptcy, Tony's "death", Tony's return and hostile takeovers, the company has gone through many name changes.
 

The company undergoes a transformation into more altruistic goals when Tony Stark has a conversion en route to becoming Iron Man. Here, for once, is a military-minded corporation with a sense of ethics.
