The TriOptimum Corporation (also Trioptimum, or simply Tri-Op), is a multinational megacorporation within the futuristic world of the System Shock video game series (the game is set aboard a space station in 2072). In the style of many cyberpunk science fiction narratives, TriOptimum is immensely powerful, and in terms of its power it rivals or surpasses many nation states in its influence. It also engages in morally questionable technological research.

The TriOptimum Corporation is a business company responsible for the creation of SHODAN, Citadel Station, Von Braun and many more technological advances within the System Shock storyline.

It is considered a mega-corporation due to the fact it has influence in the government and is the major supplier for the military and consumers.

Von Doom Industries was an international megacorporation belonged to industrialist Victor von Doom, whose headquarters was located in New York City. Its head office is located on the opposite side of Central Park to the Baxter Building. Von doom Industries has been at the fore front of ship and equipment engineering for the past ten years.

The company went bankrupt after a research team was being exposed to the cosmic radiation cloud on a space mission with the four members would forever become the world's greatest superhero team known as the Fantastic Four, and Victor von Doom, who was overseeing the mission, would undergo transmutation and later became the most nefarious and dangerous villain, Doctor Doom.

Antigen is a biotech pharmaceutical company employed by world governments to contain and experiment on Vampires and Lycans after they are captured. In reality, Antigen is a front operated by the Lycans to fool the governments into believing that they are extinct, as to turn the humans’ attention to killing the old adversary of the Lycans, the Vampires. The head of Antigen is Dr. Jacob Lane. Their headquarters are likely located in Hungary.

Twenty years after the devastating alien invasion, the United Nations has set up the Earth Space Defense (ESD), a global defense and research program that reverse-engineers alien technology and serves as Earth's early warning system against extraterrestrial threats. It was founded by the United Nations on May 25, 1998. David Levinson was appointed as its Director in 2007.

After establishing Area 51 as its headquarters, the ESD set up bases on the Moon, Mars, and Rhea, and orbital defense satellites above Earth, as fortifications against future invasions.
